Nicolette
Director & Principal OT

My vision
With 15 years working in various management and clinical government and private practice roles, this valuable experience also provided me with the determination to do things differently and to do them better.
Im continually driven to ensure our business encourages the individual growth of our OT's and provides me with the platform to provide the face to face mentoring and supervision i am passionate about.
Our success is measured by quality of service, not billable hours, and our growth comes from the development and wellbeing of our team, not our bottom line.

Occupational Therapist

Read my story
I began working for My Next OT as a new graduate Occupational Therapist and my experience has been incredibly positive. I have felt supported as I navigated the transition into professional practice. The team has provided a safe and encouraging environment, enabling me to find my footing and grow in my role as an OT.
I’ve had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of paediatric and adult clients, with a strong emphasis on developing my skills in paediatric OT - a particular area of interest for me. This year has been full of significant learning experiences and challenges, but I’ve always felt guided and supported in a professional yet nurturing manner. The team has allowed me the time and space to strengthen my clinical reasoning and build confidence in my practice as a new graduate.
The small team environment at My Next OT is one of the aspects I value most. It’s relaxed, down-to-earth and client-centered, with a clear focus on delivering the best possible outcomes for every individual we support. I’ve benefited greatly from weekly supervision sessions with our Director and Principal OT, as well as multiple external professional development opportunities that have enriched my practice.
Overall, working at My Next OT has been an incredibly rewarding experience and I’m grateful for the opportunities, guidance, and collaborative culture I am a part of.
